Avinash KG has a PhD from Mysore University( 2011) in Geospatial modeling. He has worked with the Centre for Ecological Sciences, Indian Institute of Sciences, Bangalore as a project assistant where he honed his skills on Geographical Information Systems and remote sensing. He joined ANCF as a GIS Specialist in 2008 and provides GIS support for all ANCF ‘s projects and programmes. His research interest is in the area of landscape modeling (landslide modeling and climate change). His other interests include photography and wildlife.
